About us
A Tanzanian team, based in Moshi
Einoti Safaris is an independent Tanzanian company based in Moshi, at the foot of Kilimanjaro. We plan and run private safaris, mountain treks and day trips ourselves — the guide who meets you at the airport works for us, and so does the vehicle you travel in.
Who we are
Wilson Sangeti Mollel founded Einoti Safaris after more than fifteen years guiding Tanzania's mountains and parks. He grew up within the Maasai community near Arusha, and that background shapes how the company works: the people you meet on a cultural visit are neighbours, not a scheduled stop. The office is in Moshi and the team — guides, mountain crew, cooks and planners — is Tanzanian.
How we plan
We do not sell fixed departures. Every itinerary on this site is a starting point that we expect to change once we know who is travelling, how long you have and what you actually want out of the days. Tell us you would rather sit with one leopard for an hour than see six parks, and we will build that trip instead.
On the mountain
Our Kilimanjaro crews carry emergency oxygen, a pulse oximeter and a portable stretcher on every climb, and check every climber twice a day. We will recommend a longer route rather than sell you a short one that is likely to fail, because a summit you do not reach is not a bargain. Porters carry within agreed weight limits, eat the same food as the guides and sleep in proper tents.
Working locally
The vehicles are ours and maintained here. The camps and lodges we use are chosen because we have stayed in them. Cultural visits are arranged directly with the families involved, with the fee agreed before we arrive, and we ask before anyone photographs anybody.
