Arusha to Tarangire
Afternoon game drive in Tarangire among the elephant herds and baobabs. Overnight near the park.

Tarangire to Lake Manyara
A morning drive in Tarangire, then on to Manyara for an afternoon through the groundwater forest and along the lake shore. Overnight in Karatu.

Karatu to the Serengeti
Up over the Ngorongoro highlands, past the crater viewpoint and Olduvai Gorge, and down onto the plains. Afternoon game drive. Overnight in the central Serengeti.

Full day in the Serengeti
A whole day on the plains with a picnic lunch, working the Seronera valley and the kopjes for cats. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Serengeti to the crater rim
Morning game drive, then the drive east to the Ngorongoro rim. Afternoon at leisure with the crater below you. Overnight on the rim.

Crater descent and return
A dawn descent for a long morning game drive on the crater floor, picnic lunch, then the drive back to Arusha or Moshi.
