Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour

The best single day out from Moshi: a green walk to a waterfall, then a Chagga coffee tour where you take the beans from tree to cup yourself.

Day by day.

    Materuni

We collect you from Moshi mid-morning and drive up to Materuni village on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. A guided walk of about forty-five minutes leads to the waterfall and its pool — bring swimming things. After a local lunch, the village coffee tour takes you through picking, pulping, roasting and pounding, with singing, and finishes with a cup of what you have just made. Back in Moshi by late afternoon.
